On 15th November 2025, Movers and Shakers entered a strong team in the annual Peoples Ford Parkinson's Walking Football Tournament in Glasgow. Out of 16 teams entered, we finished in joint 3rd place, our highest position yet in a competition and only beaten by the eventual winners. Well done captain Gary Blackham and team!

After many months hard work and effort by our committee members Chris and Robert Pearce, Movers and Shakers FC was finally registered as Charitable Incorporated Organisation on 10th June 2024, Registered Charity Number 1208593. Well done team!

For the fourth year running, we will be off to St George's Park on Saturday April 2025 to play in the Cure Parkinson's Cup competition. We go to do the best we can, whilst sticking to our principles of inclusivity and friendship.
